On a roaming hill of rock and bone,
With a hide of trees and grass,
Stands a peaceful refuge overgrown,
Where threat and fear,
Can rest at last.
'Nomad's Ridge' was inspired by my childhood dream of owning a cabin out in the woods. Though life has taken me out of the remote town I grew up in, and into the bustling city, I still cling to that childhood dream!
Through the stark change of rural living to Vancouver, I've come to understand that life isn't always about staying in one place, but experiencing constant changes which we either accept, learn to understand, or reject.
